Timeless Works of Art
This statue is hand carved from a solid piece of premium hunan marble. Since each statue is hand carved they will vary slightly. Premium hunan marble is white with a soft, light gray veining through it.

For the Home and Garden
Since our statues are carved from solid marble (not cast from bonded marble or any synthetics) it is safe to use outdoors exposed in weather. The weight of the statue will vary depending on the pose, but in general on a single figure statue an average weight is: 30" Tall - 120 pounds; 40" Tall - 225 pounds; 50" tall - 375 pounds; 60" tall - 550 pounds; 70" tall - 900 pounds.

What is bonded white marble?
Bonded white marble is marble powders, resins, binding agents and other ingredients that MarbleCast has combined in an innovative, proprietary "recipe" to produce a non-porous, water-resistant, 90% marble product with virtually limitless potential applications.

What isn't bonded white marble?
There are other mediums available on the market, that are not quality white bonded marble. It is not faux marble, resin, plaster, gypsum, fiberglass, ceramic or other inferior mediums that are not heirloom-quality.

What are the features of bonded white marble?
It is a non-porous material blend of white marble powders and resin composites that create a solid cast work of art, and which can be washed and cleaned with most agents. Water and weather will not harm the material, and it is very strong. It will not yellow over time, can handle high detail, doesn't have bubbles and will not crack.

So it's weatherproof?
In a word - yes.
Are there finishes that can be put over the marble?
MarbleCast also offers a variety of metal finishes, in bronze, pewter, copper and rust. These are comprised of real metal powders, and are actually metal when dry.
